And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Jack Manion!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Saleng has managed to clinch.
Saleng drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Manion gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Manion decides to pull guard.
Our spies down at at SYDNEY ELITE GYM inform us that Manion has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Saleng trying to control the position from guard on top but Manion is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Manion had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Saleng defends it easily.
Saleng stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Manion swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manion controls Saleng momentarily but Saleng frees himself.
Manion has his hands on Saleng's head, controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Manion looking for a triangle here. Saleng is fighting it but it looks tight! Manion pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Saleng is tapping out - this one is all over!
