Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martino Frederick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Lahey!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lahey throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lahey dodges the punch combination from Frederick.
Jim Lahey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frederick drives through and clinches with Lahey against the ropes.

Lahey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lahey throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Martino Frederick has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Lahey.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Frederick. Lahey shrugs it off though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frederick stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lahey has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Frederick clinches up with Lahey and pushes him back against the ropes.

and Frederick counters with a big 3 punch combo that drops Lahey on his ass! Lahey wobbles back to his feet half way through the count and though looking a bit dazed, the referee is going to allow the fight to continue!

Lahey clips Frederick with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Frederick a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

and before Lahey can reset, Frederick rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Lahey is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!

Lahey is rocked!
Lahey is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted.
Lahey get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Lahey stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the ropes but Frederick runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 4, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Martino Frederick!
Martino Frederick decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
