Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bodhi Gill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Karelin!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gill misses the shot to the body.
Gill ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karelin moves away.
Gill fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Karelin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Karelin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Nice defenses there by Karelin.

Karelin darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gill pushes Karelin off looking to stand but Karelin dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Karelin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Karelin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gill has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gill!

I've got Karelin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
