Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gunnar Chavez (ranked 3189 p4p, 4875 weight class) and Bubba Dukes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gunnar Chavez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bubba Dukes!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavez darts in trying to clinch
and Dukes counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Chavez enables Dukes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chavez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dukes trying to control the position from guard on top but Chavez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dukes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dukes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Dukes with a nice head shot there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dukes sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Chavez has momentary wrist control but Dukes slips an elbow through the middle.

Dukes stands and throws Chavez's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dukes is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Chavez has escaped the position, nice work there.
Chavez tries to buck Dukes off but Dukes is having none of it.

Dukes decides to stand back up.
Dukes is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chavez's half guard.
Dukes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Chavez knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dukes on the ground.

Dukes takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chavez on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Dukes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Nice strikes from Dukes there.
Chavez on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Chavez tries to get out of the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Dukes is looking for a kimura but Chavez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dukes to get the leverage.
Dukes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chavez keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chavez is in trouble now - Dukes has advanced to mount!
Chavez looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Dukes with shots to the head and body - Chavez looks very uncomfortable down there.
Dukes trying to control but Chavez is having none of it.
Dukes punching from mount but Chavez doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Dukes in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Dukes lands a nice shot to the head.
Chavez is rocked!
Dukes lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Chavez! Dukes sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Chavez and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
