Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chozen Gracie (ranked 2021 p4p, 1571 weight class) and Mark Clarke (ranked 235 p4p, 197 weight class). Clarke is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by One Cent, Five Cent, Ten Cent, Dollar - Soca Boys. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chozen Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Clarke! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clarke is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gracie sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A looping hook to the body misses from Gracie. Clarke does a little dance to reset his feet. We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Clarke moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Gracie missing with a left hand there. Clarke was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A slow jab from Gracie misses its intended target. And Clarke tries to counter it with a takedown but Gracie pushes his down on his head and steps out. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gracie checks a leg kick. Gracie connects with a looping right hand.
Gracie connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Clarke's hands. Clarke shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Still in half guard, Clarke seems content to control. That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie is not content to let Clarke control the position. Clarke perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Clarke bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Some wild striking there from Clarke.
Gracie appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Clarke throws a head kick that misses. Clarke throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease. Gracie throws a jab but it's blocked by Clarke. Chozen Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Clarke slips under a jab. Horrible takedown attempt by Clarke or perhaps it was just good defense by Gracie, which made it look bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clarke gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Clarke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but Clarke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chozen Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Clarke. Clarke slips under a jab from Gracie. Clarke misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming. Clarke shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gracie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Clarke manages to get himself to full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gracie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Clarke controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie trying to control but Clarke is working from the bottom. Gracie is looking to work some ground and pound but Clarke has wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie wants to control from the top but Clarke keeps moving. Gracie working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Clarke keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Clarke looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there. Clarke manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.

A close round but Mark Clarke will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Clarke steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gracie. Clarke with the counter takedown but Gracie avoids it easily. Gracie is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Clarke keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gracie. Gracie lands with a straight right. Clarke didn't see that one coming. Clarke shoots in for a takedown but Gracie shows good takedown defense. Gracie attempts a counter takedown but Clarke avoids it well and moves away. Gracie looks to throw the jab but Clarke is out of range. Mark Clarke is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Clarke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Clarke shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gracie as he avoids it easily. Chozen Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Clarke. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Clarke. Clarke takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Gracie has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Gracie misses with an uppercut. Gracie misses with a straight right. Clarke feints the counter takedown. Clarke takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Chozen Gracie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gracie lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Gracie looks to land a right hand but Clarke moved out of range. Clarke slips a jab from Gracie. Gracie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gracie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Gracie lands a nice shot that snaps Clarke's head back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie stuffs the takedown attempt from Clarke. Clarke gets slowly back to his feet. Clarke misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gracie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Gracie misses with a wild body shot. Clarke feints the counter takedown. Gracie throws a jab but it's blocked by Clarke. Gracie dodges the punch combination from Clarke.
Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Clarke slips a jab from Gracie. A big left from Gracie misses. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Gracie here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Clarke drops his hands momentarily and Gracie takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clarke moves out of range of the strikes. Clarke throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Clarke throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

And we move into the final round! Gracie checks a leg kick nicely. Gracie looks to throw the jab but Clarke is out of range. Clarke is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gracie's half guard. Gracie is looking for a sweep. Clarke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Clarke content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Gracie is concentrating on defense, preventing Clarke from advancing position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clarke thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Clarke thows a huge punch but Gracie dodges it nicely.

Clarke cracks Gracie with a solid left hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie trying to keep a closed guard but Clarke is proving a slippery customer.
Gracie wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mark Clarke. I think Clarke has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
