Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gyukosho Fujimoto (ranked 18521 p4p, 3218 weight class) and Jacques Pierre (ranked 492 p4p, 346 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 45 - 39 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gyukosho Fujimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacques Pierre !
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Pierre misses.
Pierre looks to land a right hand but Fujimoto moved out of range.
The crowd cheers as Pierre lands an impressive looking overhand right. Fujimoto doesn't seem phased though.
Pierre cracks Fujimoto with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Fujimoto looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Pierre finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pierre tries to bum rush Fujimoto with a series of wild strikes but Fujimoto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A counter left hand to the body from Fujimoto misses its target.
Pierre closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Fujimoto out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jacques Pierre !
Jacques Pierre decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
