Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert E Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Your Nightmare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by American Trilogy. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert E Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Your Nightmare! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nightmare misses with a head kick.
Nightmare tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lee tries to clinch up and Nightmare counters by clinching up. Nightmare is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Nightmare wants to break the clinch but can't.
Nightmare is working for takedown but Lee is calmly controlling the position for now. Nightmare tries to circle away but Lee has him pinned against the cage. Nightmare wants a takedown.
Nightmare digs a right hand into Lee's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lee's gas tank. Lee tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Nightmare avoids it. Nightmare breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nightmare throws a series of strikes that have Lee backpedaling.

That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Lee moves in looking to clinch but Nightmare pushes him off. Nightmare shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely. Robert E Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Your Nightmare. Lee is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lee blocks the body kick.
Lee wants to clinch and Nightmare counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Nightmare closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Lee throws a body kick that misses. Lee tries to clinch but fails miserably and Nightmare counters with a nice double leg into guard. Nightmare is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Nightmare wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Nightmare's guard. Nightmare looks gassed! Lee postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lee working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Nightmare is controlling Lee's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lee's corner is telling him to maintain position. Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Lee postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Nightmare can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lee controls the pace. Lee postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Lee wants to control from the top but Nightmare keeps moving. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lee stays in close to Nightmare's body and controls the position. Lee advances to half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lee connects with a nice short shot to Nightmare's temple. Lee frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Lee lands a heavy elbow. Lee content just to control the position here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

A close round but Your Nightmare will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Horrible takedown by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Nightmare which made him look bad. Lee fails with an attempt to clinch.

Nightmare shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Nightmare's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Robert E Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Your Nightmare. Nightmare tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lee tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Nightmare counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee cracks Nightmare with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Robert E Lee dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Still in half guard, Lee seems content to control. Nightmare has hold of Lee's hands but Lee slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Lee is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lee is trying to control the action in half guard but Nightmare is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ground and pound from Lee. Nightmare has hold of Lee's hands but Lee slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lee lands a nice short elbow. Nightmare has hold of Lee's hands but Lee slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Nightmare is staying active underneath Lee, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lee looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Lee is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Your Nightmare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Nightmare circles away.
