Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Umar Khattab (ranked 2421 p4p, 1483 weight class) and Joe Louis (ranked 277 p4p, 177 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Umar Khattab! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Louis! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Louis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Khattab takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A punch combination from Louis misses. Khattab moves into the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Louis - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Khattab turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Khattab manages to end up in side control. Khattab throws a strike aimed at the side of Louis's head but Louis avoids it well. Khattab has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Khattab blocks the strikes from Louis.
Khattab lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Khattab wants to control but Louis is keeping him busy. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Louis tries to improve position but can't. The strikes coming from Khattab are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khattab postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Khattab lands some shots froms side control. Khattab tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khattab lands an elbow. Khattab misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Louis is looking to reverse the position. Louis looks to move to half guard but instead Khattab has passed into mount! Damn! Louis trying desperately to get to his feet.
Khattab lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Louis hang on? Khattab lands a big shot there that rocks Louis but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Khattab looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Louis can do anything to dispel that myth. Louis wants to hold on but Khattab pushes him away. Khattab definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khattab postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Louis looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Khattab dominating with strikes here. Khattab is in the full mount, landing strikes. Khattab has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Louis's face.
Khattab lands a big elbow - Louis is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Louis is forced to tap out!
