Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Bergman (ranked 2205 p4p, 1382 weight class) and Jerome Greene (ranked 294 p4p, 198 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tobias Bergman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Jerome Greene! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Bergman misses its intended target. Greene will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Greene misses with a series of wild punches.
Greene slips under a jab. A nice side step and Greene releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Greene misses with a looping left. Greene paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Greene sizes up Bergman with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Greene throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bergman feinted with a counter takedown. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bergman fails with the takedown. Greene lands with a nice body punch. Nice defenses there by Greene.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bergman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Greene throws a hook to the side of Bergman's head but Bergman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Greene misses with a body shot.
Greene fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Greene is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Bergman rather than just go for the knockout. Greene misses with a leg kick. Bergman throws out a leg kick but Greene moves out of range and Bergman only half commits. Greene throws a leg kick that is checked and Bergman counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bergman. Greene manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bergman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've been hearing reports that Bergman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Greene dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Greene tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bergman was well out of range. Poor timing from Greene. Bergman half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. The fighters circling - Greene throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Greene has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bergman is landing a low percentage of strikes. Bergman shoots for a double leg takedown but Greene sprawls well. He's pushed Bergman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Bergman avoids the body shot from Greene.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Greene tries to score with a low kick but Bergman moves his leg out of the way. Bergman darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Bergman with a hook. Bergman avoids the body shot from Greene.
Bergman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Greene circles away quickly and effectively. Jab from Greene. Greene displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bergman throws out the jab. Bergman gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Greene counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tobias Bergman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bergman misses with a takedown and Greene cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Bergman has a takedown stuffed. Bergman misses with a double jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Greene listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Bergman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bergman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Greene lands a jab to Bergman's midsection. Greene works the jab nicely. Bergman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Greene.
Sloppy strikes from Greene. Those never looked like landing. Bergman feinted with a counter takedown. Greene bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bergman's head. Bergman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bergman lands in his opponent's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bergman wants to control from the top but Greene keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Greene is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Greene is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Bergman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Greene wants to sweep here but Bergman controlling him for the moment. Bergman passes easily into side control. Nice work. Bergman goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Greene has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bergman but great work by Greene. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jerome Greene dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Bergman walks into a straight right hand from Greene. Greene scores with a jab. Bergman acknowledges it with a nod of the head. A momentary lapse in concentration from Greene enables Bergman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Greene manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Greene controlling the position. Bergman wants to pass the guard but Greene is keeping the position. Bergman postures up.
Bergman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Greene manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bergman has Greene in his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bergman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greene can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greene stays in close to Bergman's body and controls the position. Greene has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bergman throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Greene escapes and throws Bergman's legs to the side, diving into side control! Bergman is looking to reverse the position. Greene gets to mount! Bergman was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Bergman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Bergman is trying to maintain the position but Greene is very close to passing his half guard.

Bergman works his way to full guard. Good work. Bergman has his foot on Greene's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Greene works his way back into a safe position though. Bergman looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Greene has picked Bergman up and slammed him! Bergman can't keep hold of the triangle and Greene manages to pass to side control! Jerome Greene has got the better of the ground game so far. Greene has control of an arm but Bergman manages to advance to Greene's back! Bergman looking for the choke but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bergman is persistently looking for the submission but Greene is defending it well.
Bergman seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Greene's chin but Greene turns very nicely into Bergman's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Greene.
Greene must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bergman trying to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Greene wants to control from the top but Bergman keeps moving. Greene really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bergman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bergman has his foot on Greene's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Greene works his way back into a safe position though. Greene stands and steps away. Bergman gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Bergman sizes up Greene with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Greene ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Greene scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Greene has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Bergman slips a jab from Greene. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jerome Greene showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Bergman throws a poor cross that misses
letting Greene counter with a right hand. Greene cracks Bergman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Greene slips under a jab from Bergman. Bergman misses with an uppercut
and Greene counters with a stiff right hand. Greene with a hook. A combination from Bergman does no damage. And Greene responds with a good body kick, but Bergman manages to step out the way in time. No luck for Bergman with that takedown attempt. Bergman misses with a double jab.

Bergman changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Greene scores with a decent looking hook. Bergman misses with a takedown and Greene makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Greene lands with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bergman pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Greene scores with a crisp jab that stopped Bergman in his tracks.
Bergman is rocked! Bergman gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Greene gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
