Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Anstey (ranked 1533 p4p, 2899 weight class) and Monni Mantzurin (ranked 179 p4p, 330 weight class). Anstey comes to the cage accompanied by Let's hear it for the boy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Corwin Anstey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Monni Mantzurin!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anstey looks to land a combination. Mantzurin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Monni Mantzurin has been cut.
Mantzurin throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mantzurin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Anstey scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Mantzurin shoots for a double leg takedown but Anstey sprawls well. He's pushed Mantzurin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Mantzurin dives in for a single leg takedown but Anstey sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Mantzurin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anstey swivels and escapes.

Mantzurin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mantzurin shoots in looking for a takedown. Anstey tries to sprawl out of it but Mantzurin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anstey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mantzurin closes the distance and clinches up with Anstey, looking for a takedown. Mantzurin pushes Anstey against the cage but Anstey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mantzurin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Anstey connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Mantzurin scrambles back to his feet.
Anstey tests Mantzurin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Anstey digs a good body shot into Mantzurin's ribs.
Anstey drops Mantzurin with a left right combo! Anstey follows him down to the ground into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Anstey in side control lands a decent elbow.

Anstey seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mantzurin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

and Mantzurin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Anstey wants to sweep but no luck.
Anstey is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Anstey might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Anstey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Mantzurin can do to turn this around?

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Anstey here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Mantzurin postures up in Anstey's guard and throws a big left but Anstey blocks it.

Anstey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mantzurin manages to avoid it.

Anstey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mantzurin on the side of the head.
Anstey leaves Mantzurin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mantzurin walks into a straight right hand from Anstey.
Mantzurin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Anstey feints with a jab and clips Mantzurin right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Mantzurin is sent crashing into the canvas and Anstey leaps in for the kill! Mantzurin tries to get to his feet but Anstey is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Mantzurin is in need of a savior and steps in!

In his post fight interview, Corwin Anstey gave a big smile as he said 'That's how it's done, I want to go again asap.'.
Monni Mantzurin spoke after the fight, saying 'blaaaahhhh.....'.
