Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harry Kane (ranked 3096 p4p, 3042 weight class) and Tom Durant (ranked 353 p4p, 341 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Durant! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slapping body kick lands there for Kane. Kane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Durant sizes up Kane with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Kane lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Durant lands with a shot to the body. Kane has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kane fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Durant to the ground. Kane is now in Durant's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kane is looking to work some ground and pound but Durant has wrist control. Kane stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Durant swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kane has gone for a leg lock! Durant slips out almost immediately though and dives into Kane's guard.
 The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kane controls Durant momentarily but Durant frees himself.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Durant seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Durant must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Durant wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kane holds on and takes a little breather. Durant is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Durant would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kane is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Durant defends well.

Durant told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Durant wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.

Durant got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kane has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Durant has managed to get both his arms back between Kane's legs - danger averted. Durant wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving. Kane trying to keep a closed guard but Durant is proving a slippery customer.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kane. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Durant! But no joy. A jab lands there for Durant.
 It looks like Harry Kane has been cut. Durant misses with a hook. Kane tries for a takedown but Durant sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kane ducks under a wild hook from Durant. Durant is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kane. Durant checks a low kick from Kane. Kane jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kane throws a right and a left that both miss.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Durant lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Durant lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Kane is breathing heavily. Durant fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Kane stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Durant. Durant lands a jab to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kane drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Kane shoots in for a takedown but Durant shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kane gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Durant gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
