Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 42 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricky Thompson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dick Glover!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson fails with a takedown attempt.
Thompson is looking to clinch.
Ricky Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson swings for the body but Glover moves out of range.
Glover tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Thompson connects with a body shot.
Glover keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And Glover tries to counter it with a takedown but Thompson pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Thompson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Glover regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Thompson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Glover utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Thompson distracts Glover with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Thompson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glover swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like Dick Glover has been cut.

Glover regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Thompson.
