Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ekon Ogunkoya (ranked 4171 p4p, 2153 weight class) and Lobsang Tsering (ranked 203 p4p, 142 weight class). Ekon Ogunkoya has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ekon Ogunkoya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lobsang Tsering! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive. Ogunkoya misses the shot to the body. Tsering changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some bone on bone action there as Tsering checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Tsering forces Ogunkoya back against the ropes and clinches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsering tightens his grip and picks Ogunkoya up, before dumping him to the ground. Ogunkoya manages to land in guard. Tsering is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Tsering wants to pass the guard but Ogunkoya is keeping the position. Ogunkoya controlling the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Tsering trying to control the position from guard on top but Ogunkoya is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tsering is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ogunkoya controls Tsering momentarily but Tsering frees himself. Tsering passes Ogunkoya's left leg - he's now in half guard. Tsering is looking to advance position but Ogunkoya won't allow it. Tsering looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tsering wants to take a breather but Ogunkoya is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsering trying to control the pace. Tsering wants to control but Ogunkoya is keeping him busy. Ogunkoya trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Tsering sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ogunkoya tries to get back to half guard but can't. Tsering quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Tsering but it's paid off an Ogunkoya is forced to tap! Nice work by Tsering.
