Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jaxson Jose!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danga de danga de dang - Diaz scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Jaxson Jose has been cut.
Diaz cracks Jose with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.

Diaz has managed to clinch.
Diaz content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Jose missing with knees to the body.

Jose breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Diaz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Diaz listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Diaz closes the distance and pushes Jose back into the ropes.
Jose misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Diaz.
Jose goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
With the fighters up against the ropes, Jose throws an elbow but misses.
Diaz lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Jose should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Diaz blocks the elbow strike.

Diaz breaks from the clinch.

Diaz drives through and clinches with Jose against the ropes.

Jose's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Diaz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jose takes one to the chin there.
Jose loads up on a big right hand but Diaz slips the punch.
Diaz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Diaz moves into the clinch.

Diaz breaks the clinch.
Diaz scores with a jab to the body.
Vincent Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diaz lands a nice shot to the body.
Jose takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Diaz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jose, pushing him back against the ropes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jose fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Diaz breaks the clinch.
Jose misses with a hook.
Jose ducks right into an uppercut from Diaz.
Jose rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Diaz counter with a right hand.
Diaz closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Jose! Diaz dives in looking to finish! Jose is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vincent Diaz!
