Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Romulus Gerber!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills swings away with a body shot that misses
and Gerber connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Edward Mills has been cut.
Mills closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

and Mills counters with a crisp one two that drops Gerber! Mills thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Gerber to his feet! Gerber is in big trouble!

Nice straight punches there by Mills. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Mills.
Gerber pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And Mills counters with a quick kick to the body but Gerber blocks it.
Gerber throws a lazy right hand but Mills sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Gerber is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Mills throws a series of punches but Gerber moves out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as Mills checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Mills counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mills looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.

As Gerber tries to get set, Mills tries to push him back and clinch up but Gerber manages to avoid the attempt.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mills checks a leg kick.
Mills moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Mills cracks Gerber with a right hand to the side of the head.

Gerber looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Mills loads up on a big right hand but Gerber slips the punch.
Mills misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Gerber lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mills lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fighters circle momentarily. Mills darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gerber ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mills moves away.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Mills - that will leave a mark!
Mills's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Mills duly obliges.
That kick from Gerber tenderised Mills's leg. Mills is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gerber steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mills. That one must have hurt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gerber throws a front kick aimed at Mills's knee but Mills avoids it well.
Gerber moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Mills throws a sloppy head kick and Gerber moves out of range easily.
Gerber looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Mills lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gerber throws a jab when Mills was well out of range.
Mills wants to clinch up but Gerber keeps it at a distance.
Gerber lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Gerber throws a looping overhand right but Mills ducks down to avoid it.

Mills thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gerber if he has to take too many more of those.

and Mills counters with a huge left! Gerber is in big trouble! He's backing up but Mills isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Gerber from any more damage. A dominating finish by Mills!
