Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leon Saint (ranked 2860 p4p, 4787 weight class) and Ernesto Wiggins (ranked 256 p4p, 394 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ernesto Wiggins!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggins checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Saint shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wiggins sprawls well. Wiggins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Saint gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Leon Saint has been cut.
Saint fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wiggins manages to avoid it.
Saint shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Saint was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Wiggins feints a jab promting Saint to slip. Wiggins then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Saint slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Saint shoots in looking for a takedown. Wiggins tries to sprawl out of it but Saint keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wiggins manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Wiggins in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Ernesto Wiggins decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
