Sticks comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera: Walk. Petrov has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Master Petrov has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sticks shoots in for a takedown but Petrov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sticks displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Petrov throws out the jab.
Sticks shoots in for a double leg but Petrov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sticks is trying hard to land a takedown here. Petrov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fiddle Sticks. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sticks shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Petrov napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Sticks is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Petrov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Sticks tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sticks has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Petrov is looking to regain half guard here but Sticks keeps moving and retains side control.

Sticks has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Petrov is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Sticks yanks on the arm and Petrov is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Sticks.

After the fight, Fiddle Sticks was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
