Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kuromiya Hiro (ranked 558 p4p, 959 weight class) and Dill Nickle (ranked 61 p4p, 104 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Kuromiya Hiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dill Nickle!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiro looks to throw the jab but Nickle is out of range.
We've been told by Hiro's head coaches at Canadian Elite Bruins Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hiro swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Nickle gets a clinch.
Nickle blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Nickle tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hiro pushes Nickle back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hiro lands a body shot.
Hiro working aggressively here.
Hiro lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hiro stops a takedown attempt from Nickle.
Nickle lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hiro backwards.

Nickle ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nickle no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Hiro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nickle manages to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Nickle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nickle has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hiro finds it's way round the side to connect with Nickle's head.
Hiro motions for Nickle to come forward. Hiro throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Nickle.
Hiro pushes Nickle away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nickle gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Nickle takes a little break here. Hiro wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Hiro is not content to let Nickle control the position.
Nickle works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kuromiya Hiro dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Hiro throws a lazy right hand but Nickle sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Nickle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hiro pinned against the cage. Hiro gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Nickle takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hiro dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nickle needs to keep his hands up - Hiro had a free shot at his head there.
Kuromiya Hiro is winning the standup battle so far.
Nickle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hiro swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Nickle connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hiro throws a hook to the side of Nickle's head but Nickle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nickle wants to control but Hiro is keeping him busy.

Hiro is trying to get back to his feet.

Hiro sneaks out the side door and pushes Nickle away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Nickle checks a leg kick.

Nickle chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hiro can pounce on him.

Nickle throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hiro tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nickle is in Hiro's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kuromiya Hiro showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hiro, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
