Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daichi Tanaka (ranked 2527 p4p, 2533 weight class) and Ronin Huynh (ranked 222 p4p, 223 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Daichi Tanaka has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Daichi Tanaka seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huynh throws a hook but Tanaka blocks it.
Huynh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Huynh misses with a hook

Tanaka decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Tanaka is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Huynh to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Huynh shrugs it off.

Huynh connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

A nice side step and Huynh releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Tanaka is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Huynh can do to turn this around?

Huynh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

No joy there for Tanaka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Huynh counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Oh Tanaka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Huynh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tanaka circles away quickly and effectively.
Tanaka seems to have got his legs back now.
Huynh throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tanaka lands a body shot.
Tanaka loads up on a big right hand but Huynh slips the punch.
Huynh swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A big left from Tanaka misses.
Huynh lands an uppercut, right on the button! Tanaka tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
