Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23399 p4p, 23352 weight class) and Wala Sapi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 44 - 62 - 11, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 57 - 50 - 11, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wala Sapi! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Sapi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And Mibangon counters with a quick kick to the body but Sapi blocks it. Sapi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mibangon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sapi thinking. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sapi as he jumps to the side. Sapi feints the counter takedown. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sapi scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Mibangon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sapi wants to control but Mibangon is keeping him busy. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A lull in the action here as Sapi stalls from top position. Mibangon can't do much from the bottom here.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Mibangon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sapi throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. A lull in the action here as Mibangon stalls from top position. Mibangon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sapi for as long as he can get away with.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sapi can't do much from the bottom here. Mibangon trying to control the action but Sapi is working from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon controls the position.

A close round but Wala Sapi will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Sapi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Sapi seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Mibangon is trying to control the position but Sapi postures up. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Sapi dives in for a single leg takedown but Mibangon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. It appears Mibangon was looking to counter with a kick there. Mibangon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sapi as he avoids it easily. Sapi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mibangon keeping control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Well, if Sapi is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Wala Sapi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! Mibangon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sapi pinned against the cage. Sapi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Sapi was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Mibangon slaps away a takedown attempt from Sapi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mibangon quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon dives in and scores a takedown into Sapi's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon controls from within his opponent's guard. Sapi keeping full guard, as Mibangon tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mibangon stopping the sweep attempt from Sapi. Sapi trying to control the position.
Sapi is pulling down on Mibangon's head. It's preventing any offense from Mibangon, at least for the moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon drives through and clinches with Sapi against the cage.

Mibangon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Mibangon gets control of Sapi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mibangon will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Wala Sapi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mibangon looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Minatay Mibangon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sapi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Mibangon looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that's the end of the fight! Minatay Mibangon showed his dominance in that final round. I think Sapi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
