Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ispa Mferi (ranked 1335 p4p, 1446 weight class) and Hugo Eklund (ranked 201 p4p, 218 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ispa Mferi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hugo Eklund!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mferi misses with an uppercut. Eklund saw that one coming.
Eklund steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Eklund uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mferi.
Mferi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mferi lands a right hook to the body.
Eklund blocks a jab.
Eklund moves away from the strike by Mferi.
Mferi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Eklund.
Mferi missing with a left hand there. Eklund was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mferi slips a jab from Eklund.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mferi steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Eklund. That one must have hurt.
Eklund tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Eklund pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Mferi misses the target.
Mferi on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Mferi throws a poor cross that misses
and Eklund makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mferi really felt that one!
Eklund connects with a leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mferi takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A slow jab from Mferi misses its intended target.
Mferi has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Eklund.
Both fighters circling a little - Eklund finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Mferi is breathing heavily.
Eklund throws a front kick that sends Mferi stumbling back into the cage.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Eklund.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Eklund connects with a high kick.
It looks like Ispa Mferi has been cut.
Eklund pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Eklund lands a big head kick that sends Mferi tumbling to the mat! Eklund takes a step backwards and waves Mferi back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mferi is rocked!
Eklund buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oh Mferi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mferi will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Look low, kick high! Eklund uses the oldest trick in the book to send Mferi tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Eklund is absolutely delighted - when Mferi wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hugo Eklund!
