Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Preston Foster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Massif Headingery!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster throws a head kick that misses
and Headingery counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Headingery.
Headingery drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Foster manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Headingery has Foster in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Headingery wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Foster wanted to stand there but Headingery had control of the position.
Headingery wants to sweep but no luck.

Headingery drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Headingery jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Headingery got a little sloppy there for a moment and Foster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Headingery has managed to get both his arms back between Foster's legs - danger averted.
Headingery is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Foster is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Foster has escaped and now he's on top!
Foster is looking to stand up but Headingery won't let him.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Headingery crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Foster - the referee stops the clock and Headingery gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Foster. Headingery manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Foster throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Headingery now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Foster lands a head kick. Headingery smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Massif Headingery has been cut.

Headingery on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Foster throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Foster closes the distance and pushes Headingery back into the cage.
Headingery goes for a takedown in the clinch but Foster prevents it.
Foster drops Headingery with a big knee straight up the middle! Headingery is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Headingery is rocked!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Foster throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Headingery is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
