Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oharles Cliveira (ranked 2734 p4p, 3284 weight class) and Kody Ruiz (ranked 371 p4p, 431 weight class). Kody Ruiz told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Oharles Cliveira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kody Ruiz!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cliveira throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ruiz tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cliveira is in Ruiz's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cliveira has gone for a leg lock! Ruiz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cliveira's guard.
