Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Weaver (ranked 2900 p4p, 24949 weight class) and JaSean Jackson (ranked 94 p4p, 255 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liam Weaver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JaSean Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Weaver has time to react.
A jab lands there for Jackson.
Jackson connects with a nice looking jab.
Jackson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Jackson throws a lazy right hand but Weaver sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Weaver feinted with a counter takedown.
Nice uppercut there from Weaver.
Jackson misses with a left hand
and Weaver counters with a stiff right hand.
Weaver closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Weaver uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson.
Weaver swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jackson misses with an uppercut. Weaver saw that one coming.
Jackson swings widly with a right hand
and Weaver counters with a thumping low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Weaver cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Weaver slips a jab from Jackson.
Weaver swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jackson connects with a jab.
Jackson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jackson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Weaver sprawling to the canvas! Weaver rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jackson finish him?!
Weaver is rocked!
It looks like Liam Weaver has been cut.
Jackson shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Weaver takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Jackson sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Weaver bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). JaSean Jackson!
