The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dlask bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Deckel's head backwards.

Deckel shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Deckel is trying to work for a kimura but Dlask is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Deckel is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deckel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dlask swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Deckel is fighting to break Dlask's control of his arms but Dlask is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
