Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gakus Amiga (ranked 23421 p4p, 23244 weight class) and Richard John Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 46 - 64 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gakus Amiga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 53 - 63 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Amiga on his heels. He'll look to pass Amiga's guard now, I'm sure.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Amiga manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Salvacion is trying to drag Amiga to the mat but Amiga just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Salvacion goes for a takedown in the clinch but Amiga prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gakus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion.

Salvacion is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Amiga can't fight it off and eventually Salvacion manages to take the fight to the floor. Amiga looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to his closed guard and prevents Salvacion from doing any damage or advancing position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Salvacion closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Amiga's guard.

That's time! Amiga's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Amiga not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Salvacion pulls Amiga in close to prevent any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Amiga gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Salvacion to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Let's hope that Salvacion has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Salvacion slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Amiga.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Amiga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Amiga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Salvacion goes for a double leg but Amiga avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Amiga continues to drive forward.
Salvacion fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Amiga throws a quick counter kick to the body but Salvacion avoids it.
Salvacion looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Amiga is fending him off so far but Salvacion persists. Nope, Amiga circles away and we're back to standing.
Gakus Amiga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard John Salvacion.
Amiga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salvacion was covering up waiting for the punch and Amiga finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Gakus Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Richard John Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Salvacion wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
And that's the end of the fight!
Gakus Amiga showed his dominance in that final round.
