Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aboubacar Mandiang (ranked 765 p4p, 2247 weight class) and Saad Sadiq (ranked 97 p4p, 261 weight class). Mandiang comes to the cage accompanied by Oliver Twist. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sadiq 's choice of entrance music: Where Have All The Boot Boys Gone - Slaughter And The Dogs . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sadiq ducks under a wild hook from Mandiang.
And Sadiq tries to counter it with a takedown but Mandiang pushes his down on his head and steps out.

and Sadiq decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mandiang's guard.
Mandiang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
