Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideki Hamamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Huena Ajuricaba!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Steve Erwin and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamamoto plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Ajuricaba lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Hideki Hamamoto has been cut.
Hamamoto misses with a jab to the body
and Ajuricaba connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hamamoto throws a wild body kick that Ajuricaba sees coming a mile off.
Ajuricaba lands with a hook. Hamamoto tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ajuricaba scores with a hook to the body. Hamamoto takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hamamoto closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ajuricaba counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Ajuricaba connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hamamoto tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Ajuricaba to counter with a crisp jab.
Hideki Hamamoto's cut is getting worse.
Hamamoto walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
