Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Reynolds (ranked 4134 p4p, 4212 weight class) and Miguel Hernandez (ranked 349 p4p, 359 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Miguel Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez has Reynolds up against the cage in a clinch.
Hernandez breaks from the clinch.
Hernandez looks to land a combination but Reynolds avoids it well.
Hernandez looks to score with a jab to the body but Reynolds is just out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Hernandez. Those never looked like landing.
Reynolds swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Hernandez tries to clinch there but Reynolds circles away.

A little feinted left hand from Reynolds on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hernandez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Reynolds tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hernandez is in Reynolds's guard.
Hernandez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It looks like Hernandez might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Reynolds controls Hernandez momentarily but Hernandez frees himself.
Hernandez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hernandez is working Reynolds over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Reynolds has momentary wrist control but Hernandez slips an elbow through the middle.

Reynolds knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hernandez on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hernandez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hernandez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Reynolds sprawls well. Reynolds wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hernandez gets slowly back to his feet.

Hernandez tries to work over Reynolds's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hernandez tries to score a body lock takedown but Reynolds shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Reynolds makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Lincoln Reynolds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Hernandez.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Hernandez has eaten all the pies!
Hernandez is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Reynolds to keep the fight standing.

Hernandez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Reynolds after a bit of a struggle.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Hernandez takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hernandez wants to clinch but Reynolds slips to the side
and Reynolds cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hernandez is rocked!
BOOM! Reynolds lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hernandez. Hernandez tries to recover but Reynolds is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hernandez lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lincoln Reynolds!
