Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chocker Off!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Bernados!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bernados scores with a takedown into Off's guard.
Bernados trying to control but Off is working from the bottom.
Off trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Off throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Off tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Off keeping moving, preventing Bernados from controlling successfully.

Off is looking for a triangle but Bernados pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bernados postures up.

Bernados looking to pass the guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Off working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bernados.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Chocker Off seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bernados drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Off trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Bernados is keen to just control but Off is a slippery customer.

Bernados is stalling here. Off is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bernados seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Off has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Off throws a strike aimed at the side of Bernados's head but Bernados avoids it well.
Bernados tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Off misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Off avoids the attempt from Bernados to control.
Bernados can't escape the position.

Bernados tries to improve his position but instead Off has taken his back!

Off is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bernados is defending well though. Off let's go of the attempt for now.
Off is hanging on to Bernados's back as he tries to escape.
Bernados trying to control the action but Off just sinks the hooks in.
Off missing with strikes from the back.
Off gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Off has the hooks in. Bernados is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Bernados breaks Off's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Bernados trying to control but Off is working from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bernados accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Chocker Off will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Bernados feints and then cracks Off's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Off down.
Off darts in looking for a takedown but Bernados gets double underhooks and turns Off into the cage.
Off wants a takedown.
Bernados crunches a lovely knee into Off's ribcage.
Bernados is pressed up against the cage. Off has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bernados down to the mat. Bernados avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chocker Off. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Off tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bernados swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bernados changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Off fails with the takedown
and Bernados counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Off shoots in for a takedown but Bernados shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bernados leaves Off with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bernados works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Off is trying to control the position but Bernados postures up.

Ivan Bernados has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bernados is trying for a kimura here. Off looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Bernados wins by kimura!
