Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Karelin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jose Caceres!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caceres gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Karelin counters with a straight right hand.
Caceres fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Caceres looking to score a takedown here. Karelin is defending well but Caceres drives through and ends up in Karelin's guard.
Caceres won't allow Karelin to sweep him here.
Caceres drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Caceres jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Caceres slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Caceres tries for a kimura but Karelin is defending well.
Caceres advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Caceres swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

An out of breath Jose Caceres thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
