The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Klarenet tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hagler rushes Klarenet and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Klarenet looking for a takedown.

Hagler manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Hagler is trying to control the position but Klarenet postures up.
Klarenet's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Klarenet forces his way into half guard.
Hagler wants to improve his position but Klarenet is controlling well.
Klarenet is looking to advance position but Hagler won't allow it.

Hagler is trying to control but can't.
Hagler is staying active underneath Klarenet, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Klarenet tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hagler knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Klarenet is looking for a kimura here.
Klarenet is keen to just control but Hagler is a slippery customer.

Klarenet trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Klarenet is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hagler is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Klarenet looking to secure an arm triangle but Hagler defends it well.

Hagler is controlling an arm, preventing Klarenet from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Hagler is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Klarenet looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Klarenet has hold of Hagler's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hagler manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Hagler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Klarenet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Klarenet looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Klarenet is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Klarenet extends the arm and Hagler is forced to tap!
