This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Joel Gomez! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Saul Tacarante!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Tacarante closes the distance and clinches.
Gomez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tacarante after a bit of a struggle.
Gomez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A relieved looking Saul Tacarante thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
