The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Jackson tries for a takedown but Stanton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Stanton has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jackson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Stanton. Stanton sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
