And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 3 losses; Manta Ray!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Ray moves into the clinch successfully.
Ray manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Ray is trying to control the position but Mckay postures up.
Mckay trying to control but Ray is working from the bottom.
Ray has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mckay can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Mckay is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Ray keeping full guard, as Mckay tries to pass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ray is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Mckay frees his head nicely. Oh but Ray has switched to an armbar! Mckay is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
