The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski misses with a low kick.
Pudzianowski fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Albertson checks it well.
Pudzianowski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pudzianowski wants it to stay on the feet.
Pudzianowski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Albertson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Pudzianowski throws a low kick but Albertson moves out of range easily.
Albertson with the counter takedown but Pudzianowski avoids it easily.

and Albertson counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Pudzianowski!
Albertson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Albertson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Pudzianowski some visible discomfort.

Albertson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pudzianowski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Pudzianowski bucks up and tries to throw Albertson off but instead Albertson has got his back!
Pudzianowski is trying to stand back up.
Albertson cracks Pudzianowski with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Pudzianowski from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Pudzianowski wants to get back to his feet.
Albertson lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Albertson.
Pudzianowski is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Albertson is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Pudzianowski has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Albertson has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Pudzianowski taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Albertson doesn't care though - he's delighted!
