Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Portin Vartija!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Kane Point!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Point tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vartija was well out of range. Poor timing from Point.
Point takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Kane Point has been cut.
Point fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vartija looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Point throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vartija was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Point throws out a loose jab but Vartija uses good head movement to avoid it.
Point just misses with a punch to the body.
Point jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Point lands a head kick. Vartija smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Vartija rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Point moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Point is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Vartija had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Point lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
