Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deon Graves (ranked 947 p4p, 1969 weight class) and Grover Pittman (ranked 97 p4p, 193 weight class). Graves comes into the arena with THE ZOO blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Grover Pittman enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grover Pittman!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pittman throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A swing and a miss from Graves.
Pittman swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pittman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Pittman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Graves throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pittman sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pittman throws a hook to the side of Graves's head but Graves sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Graves went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Grover Pittman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pittman misses the body punch
and Graves counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Grover Pittman has been cut.
Graves is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pittman.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
No joy there for Graves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pittman, as that shot connected.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Pittman drops Graves with a straight right hand, right on the button! Pittman follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

A relieved looking Grover Pittman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
