Turngemaxt takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Turngemaxt tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Montanti pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Turngemaxt forces Montanti back against the cage and clinches.
Turngemaxt drops down looking for an ankle pick but Montanti pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tommaso Montanti has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Furdas Turngemaxt.
Turngemaxt uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Montanti.
Turngemaxt shoots in looking for a takedown. Montanti tries to sprawl out of it but Turngemaxt keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Montanti manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Montanti looks to throw the jab but Turngemaxt is out of range.
Turngemaxt dives in for a single leg takedown but Montanti sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turngemaxt tries to free his leg and advance position but Montanti is retaining full guard.

Montanti had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Turngemaxt defends it easily.
Turngemaxt throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Montanti works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Montanti can't keep his opponent in guard - Turngemaxt advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Turngemaxt wants to pass the guard but Montanti is defending well.
Turngemaxt is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Turngemaxt is looking for a kimura but Montanti is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Turngemaxt to get the leverage.
Turngemaxt is trying for a kimura here. Montanti looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Turngemaxt wins by kimura!
