Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Svensson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bones Jones!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to clinch but Svensson moves out of range.
Svensson throws a quick counter kick to the body but Jones avoids it.
Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Svensson sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
It looked like Svensson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jones.
Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
Jones misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jones tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Jones misses with some punches.
Svensson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jones misses with a short punch on the inside.
Svensson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Svensson defends well and Jones ends up having to push Svensson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

We've been informed that Jones has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

and Svensson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Jones misses with a jab to the body
and Svensson counters with a nice right hand that sends Jones toppling to the canvas! Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Svensson finish him?!

It looks like Bones Jones has been cut.
