The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joakim shoots in looking for a takedown. Garcia tries to sprawl out of it but Joakim keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Garcia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Joakim uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Garcia.
Joakim loads up on a big right hand but Garcia slips the punch.
Garcia throws a head kick that misses.
Joakim fails in his attempt to clinch.
Garcia gets tackled into the cage by Joakim. Joakim maintains the clinch.
Garcia digs a right hand underneath Joakim's ribcage. Joakim let out a lung full of air as it connected.
