Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Tulips (ranked 4076 p4p, 4235 weight class) and Tee Naught (ranked 436 p4p, 450 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brad Tulips!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tee Naught!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naught displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Tulips.
Tulips closes this distance looking for a takedown but Naught circles away.
Naught should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Naught throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Tulips has managed to clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Tulips throws an elbow but misses.
Naught tries to break the clinch but Tulips is controlling the position.

Tulips breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tulips throws a push kick but Naught slaps the foot to one side.
Tulips has a takedown stuffed.

Tulips shoots in looking for a takedown but Naught manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tulips's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tulips goes for a double leg but Naught avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Naught continues to drive forward.
Naught drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tulips gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Naught tries to close the distance and clinch but Tulips swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tulips changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Naught tries to avoid it but Tulips manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Naught to the ground. Naught escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tulips fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tulips comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Tulips clinches up with Naught and pushes him back against the cage.

Tulips pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Naught gets tackled into the cage by Tulips. Tulips maintains the clinch.

Naught is trying to break the clinch but Tulips is controlling him.
Tulips tries for a takedown but Naught manages to get underhooks.
Naught tries to pull guard but Tulips forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Naught drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tulips is stalling in the full guard.
Tulips postures up.
Naught preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Tulips tries to free his leg and advance position but Naught is retaining full guard.

Tulips has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Naught wants to sweep here but Tulips controlling him for the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Tulips.
Naught misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Tulips rushes Naught and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tulips tries to work over Naught's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Naught stalling in the clinch but Tulips improves position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tulips ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tulips no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Tulips is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Naught defends well.

Tulips is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tulips throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Naught's waist but Naught gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tulips off to one side.

And that's the end of the fight!

Well Tulips has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
