Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steven Christie (ranked 1759 p4p, 643 weight class) and Evan Duvernay (ranked 155 p4p, 58 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Christie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Amityville. Duvernay comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Le Vent Nous Portera kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 24 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steven Christie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Evan Duvernay!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duvernay throws a hook to the side of Christie's head but Christie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Christie moves in looking to clinch but Duvernay pushes him off.
Christie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duvernay swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A jab from Duvernay does it's job there.
Christie lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Steven Christie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christie takes a swing at Duvernay's ribcage but misses.

Christie tries to close the distance and clinch but Duvernay swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Duvernay takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Duvernay weaves into range and cracks Christie right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Christie goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Duvernay is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Evan Duvernay really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
The defeated Steven Christie had this to say: 'Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm making a voodoo doll, thinking of you.'.
