Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tre Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Colby Canvana!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Dmitry Maklakov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Davis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Davis throws a right and a left that both miss.
Canvana clinches.
Davis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Canvana has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Davis swings wildly with an uppercut but Canvana uses good head movement to avoid it.
Davis manages to break the clinch.
Davis clinches with his opponent.
Davis lands a right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Canvana throws a hook but Davis blocks it.

Canvana told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Davis throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Canvanas head.
Davis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Davis throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Canvana blocks it with crossed arms.

Canvana is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Davis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Canvana tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davis lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Davis looks to land a combination but Canvana avoids it well.

Davis looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Canvana takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Donk. Davis catches Canvana right on the button with a cross.

Davis cracks Canvana with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Canvana fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Davis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Davis works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Davis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Canvana looks for the body kick but Davis saw that one coming.
Canvana takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Davis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Davis lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Davis cracks Canvana with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Canvana falls to his knees and Davis doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tre Davis!
