Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yuto Yoshida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeff Jefferson!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jefferson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Yoshida's hands.
Yoshida throws a right hand that Jefferson ducks under and follows up with a left that Jefferson also avoids with ease.
Yoshida definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Yoshida cracks Jefferson with an open hand slap.
Jefferson lands a big head kick that sends Yoshida tumbling to the mat! Jefferson takes a step backwards and waves Yoshida back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Yoshida is rocked!
It looks like Yuto Yoshida has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yoshida tries to get into range but Jefferson steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Yoshida! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Jefferson scores the big KO victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jeff Jefferson!
