Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Oskar Gudmundsson (ranked 3328 p4p, 2990 weight class) and James Xu (ranked 300 p4p, 276 weight class). Gudmundsson comes to the cage accompanied by All It Takes - Karnivool. The crowd seem to be enjoying Xu's choice of entrance music: Tommy Richman - MILLION DOLLAR BABY. James Xu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Xu misses its intended target.
As Xu looks to move away, Gudmundsson throws a big counter combo but Xu just gets out of the way.
Xu swings for the body but Gudmundsson moves out of range.
Xu misses with a shot to the body
enabling Gudmundsson to counter with a crisp jab.
Gudmundsson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A cross from Xu lands.
Xu moves into the clinch.
Gudmundsson digs a right hand into Xu's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Xu's gas tank.
Xu is working for takedown but Gudmundsson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Gudmundsson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Xu jumps guard but Gudmundsson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Xu has Gudmundsson pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gudmundsson manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Oskar Gudmundsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Xu.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Xu is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gudmundsson to keep the fight standing.
Gudmundsson makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Gudmundsson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Xu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Xu tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gudmundsson smiles and moves away.
Xu misses with an uppercut.
Xu throws a body punch but Gudmundsson moves out of range.
A shot to the body from Xu misses
and Gudmundsson counters with a crisp right that sends Xu to the canvas! Gudmundsson follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
