Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nils De Wilde (ranked 1983 p4p, 1834 weight class) and Glass Joe Jr (ranked 202 p4p, 190 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Joe Jr's choice of entrance music: Punch Out Theme. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nils De Wilde! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Glass Joe Jr! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe Jr throws a right hand that misses
and De Wilde counters with a straight right hand. De Wilde really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. De Wilde rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Joe Jr counters with a nice uppercut. Joe Jr lands with an uppercut that bounces De Wilde off the cage and back into range. De Wilde connects with a body shot that sends Joe Jr's belly button to the back. Joe Jr misses with a looping left. De Wilde throws the left hand but Joe Jr avoids the punch easily. Joe Jr fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
De Wilde moves out of range of the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Wilde avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Joe Jr takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! De Wilde uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Joe Jr.
That's one minute gone in the round. A left and a right from De Wilde both land. Nice combination. De Wilde moves away from the strike by Joe Jr. We've been informed that Joe Jr has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. A big left from Joe Jr misses. De Wilde ducks under a wild hook from Joe Jr. De Wilde lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Joe Jr misses with a straight left. De Wilde forces Joe Jr back against the cage and clinches. De Wilde pushes Joe Jr back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Joe Jr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A low kick lands for De Wilde.
Decent striking displayed by Joe Jr there. Glass Joe Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Joe Jr works De Wilde's body with a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Joe Jr throws a poor cross that misses
and De Wilde counters with a straight right hand. Joe Jr misses with a straight right. De Wilde fails in his attempt to clinch. A jab from Joe Jr misses. Joe Jr uses good head movement to avoid the hook from De Wilde. Joe Jr has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from De Wilde finds it's way round the side to connect with Joe Jr's head. Joe Jr tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. De Wilde throws a leg kick and Joe Jr connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fighters circle momentarily. De Wilde darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Joe Jr scores with the left hand. De Wilde knows he should have avoided that one. Joe Jr thows a left - swing and a miss! A counter left hand to the body from De Wilde misses its target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Wilde fails in his attempt to clinch. De Wilde throws a front kick that sends Joe Jr stumbling back into the cage. De Wilde throws a right hand that misses
and De Wilde takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. De Wilde needs to keep his hands up - Joe Jr had a free shot at his head there. De Wilde throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Joe Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Joe Jr throws a lazy right hand but De Wilde sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. De Wilde misses the jab. De Wilde looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. De Wilde misses with a body shot.
De Wilde throws a body shot but no joy. De Wilde throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Joe Jr throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from De Wilde lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Joe Jr has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Joe Jr and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. De Wilde fails with an attempt to clinch.
De Wilde uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Joe Jr. De Wilde fires out a quick counter leg kick but Joe Jr just manages to avoid it. Good leg kick by De Wilde. De Wilde throws a nice inside leg kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! De Wilde moves into the clinch successfully.
Joe Jr stalls. De Wilde lands with a left to the head. De Wilde misses with a hook to the ribs.
De Wilde lands a left hand that snaps the head of Joe Jr backwards. Joe Jr wants to stall.
Joe Jr can't find room to land a body shot as De Wilde controls the action.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nils De Wilde will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. De Wilde wants to clinch up but Joe Jr keeps it at a distance. De Wilde moves forwards but Joe Jr connects with a nice, crisp jab. De Wilde staying out of range there. Joe Jr throws a combination but it was largely blocked by De Wilde. An attempted straight right counter from De Wilde misses the target. Joe Jr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Joe Jr swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. De Wilde dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Joe Jr lands a nice shot that snaps De Wilde's head back.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Joe Jr misses the target. Joe Jr drops De Wilde with a beautiful combination! De Wilde stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Joe Jr is looking for the KO!
De Wilde is rocked! De Wilde dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Joe Jr. That did some damage! Oh De Wilde is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Joe Jr steps in with a hook that catches De Wilde right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Joe Jr follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! De Wilde looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Glass Joe Jr!
