Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Louis Walker (ranked 4670 p4p, 24854 weight class) and Marius Dabija (ranked 302 p4p, 343 weight class). Dabija has chosen Hajime no Ippo Intro 3 as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Louis Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marius Dabija! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dabija is trying hard to land a takedown here. Walker sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Walker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marius Dabija seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Dabija has his takedown stuffed and Walker cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Walker connects with a body shot that sends Dabija's belly button to the back. Dabija takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Dabija shoots in looking for a takedown. Walker tries to sprawl out of it but Dabija keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Walker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Walker was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Louis Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marius Dabija. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dabija shoots for a double leg takedown but Walker sprawls well. He's pushed Dabija's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Walker swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dabija. Dabija fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Walker lands with a hook. Dabija tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Dabija shoots and misses and Dabija takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Dabija is rocked! Walker dances in with a quick combination. Dabija is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Walker snaps Dabija's head back. Dabija stumbles backwards against the cage. Walker steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Dabija's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Dabija just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Louis Walker!
