The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Cheese clinches with his opponent.
Dukat is pressed up against the ropes. Cheese has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dukat down to the mat. Dukat avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dukat looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Dukat seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cheese for as long as he can get away with.

Cheese is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Dukat off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. And that's the end of the fight! Dukat takes the fight on points by 8 to 0. After the fight, Gul Dukat was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
