Chief's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Roman reigns entrance. The key to victory for Tribal Chief has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tribal Chief!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson walks into a left hand.

It looks like Mark Johnson has been cut.
Chief attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Johnson drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Chief defends it well.

Chief steps into range and cracks Johnson with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Johnson flops backwards and Chief dives into his guard looking to finish!

Johnson is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chief looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Chief trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
Chief stays in close to Johnson's body and controls the position.
Johnson wants to sweep here but Chief controlling him for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chief throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Chief passes Johnson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Johnson tries to get to full guard but Chief has control of the leg.
Johnson keeping hold of Chief's head, controlling as best he can.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chief in particular looking to stall.
We've been hearing that Chief has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Johnson is staying active underneath Chief, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Johnson tries to get to full guard but Chief has control of the leg.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Chief bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Johnson! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Chief trying to control but Johnson is working from the bottom.
Johnson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Chief trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Chief content to stall in guard here.
Chief wants to control from the top but Johnson keeps moving.
Johnson is trying to control the position but Chief postures up.
Johnson wants to hit a sweep here but Chief passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Johnson there!
Chief breaks from Johnson's wrist control and lands an elbow.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chief takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Johnson holds on to Chief around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
Chief controlling from mount.
Chief pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

That has opened up Mark Johnson's cut even more.
Johnson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Chief punches Johnson on the ear.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Tribal Chief dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mark Johnson's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Chief displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnson throws out the jab.
Johnson circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Chief. Johnson falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Chief!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tribal Chief!
Tribal Chief made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Acknowledge me'.
